(intro and song would go here)

The sun was out, above the city, and the camera panned down to a kid walking down the sidewalk, walking past people that walked by. The kids hair is red, sleeked back into a spiked back style. He has a grey shirt under his blue jacket, of which has the name 'Jay' stitched onto it. He wears torn jeans, and his shoes are black with yellow souls, with black straps and red lightning bolts on the side. He walked down the street, hands in his pocket, then he got pulled into an ally way, his mouth being covered as he is. He pushes himself away from the person that pulled him into the ally way. "Hey, what was that for!?" he asked, and the person replied with. "you have great potential, and i wanted to talk with you in private."

The guys hair was blond and sleek, his shirt is black, and he wore a red jacket with a black trim on it, and it had gold details at the bottom that resembled plants and vines. He had on black jeans, and he had black boots that had red and white details down the sides, and he had on black shades. On his wrist was a small i-pod like device, having a dial and screen on the front, being rounded, and it was red with black grips. On his side was a deck holding a few cards.

"What are you talking about!?" Jay asked with pure confusion and annoyance.

"You see, I am what most people call a Data Master, a person chosen to partner with a Data Monster." The stranger replies as he holds up his arm to show the device to Jay. "This here, is called a Data Collector, it allows Data Masters to access the Data Zone and battle other Data Masters."

"you are just talking non-sense now! I've never heard of such i thing!" he exclaimed. He seemed like he was ready to leave, but the stranger stops him.

"Wait. he says, grabbing Jay's shoulder. "it's all very much true, and you are chosen to be one, I can tell you are. Here, take this." He holds out another device, which we now know as a Data Collector, this one being all white. "it would be best for you to take it and trust me." he smiled, showing his teeth in a trusting way. Jay sighs and gives in, taking the Data Collector. The Data collector then gains color, becoming blue with red grips, and Jay nearly falls back in surprise. "what in the world!?" he asked in surprise, and the stranger says. "Don't worry, it just accepted you and chose its colors to match you."

"Ok, that shouldn't be possible, i must be dreaming!" Jay says with pure disbelief.

"but it's all real." He starts to leave, but then stops and turns his head back to him. "oh, and by the way, name's Chero." he turns again and leaves, leaving Jay confused at to what to do with the Data Collector. The scene then fades to the next scene, with Jay in his home, sitting on the couch, examining the Data collector.

"ok~, what do i do now?" He asked to himself. He stood up and looked around. "Do you come with anything? chips, spheres, what about keys?" He looks under the couch and finds a deck of cards. "Huh, what's this?" He asks to himself as he grabs the deck and looks at it. He opens it up and pulls out 7 cards. "what are these?" He looks through the cards. The first one was just a blue back ground with gold spikes going in to the center, looking like a portal, or like the backs of the Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

The second had a humanoid t-rex like humongusuar from ben ten. It's hands have black and red finger-less gloves, his shoulders are box-like, yet rounded in the corners. He has black skin-tight jeans that goes down to his ankles. His feet are big and stubby like mammoth feet, he also has large tusks, and he has a grey visor. On the side of the card was the name "Derodio". "Derodio? What is that? What ever it is, must be something that works with that device."

The next one was of a red box with metal arms extending away from it, the arms having three small spiked claws on silver-rounded ends. the arms had multiple joints of articulation, being very pose-able. The next card was a card of Derodio doing a ground pound with a number in the upper left corner being 80.

Next was Derodio doing a cannonball to the ground, with the ground being a giant creator being formed under him. the number on the card was 70. the next one was numbers in a line going into the device. the last card was of the metal arm set, but the silver ends were folded open and has big black cannons with red beams firing out of each cannon. Jay was amazed at the designs and was intrigued, starting to believe what Chero said earlier. "Maybe he was telling the truth, maybe Data Monsters are real." All of a sudden, his phone rings, and he picks it up.

"Hey, Jay, wanna come help? I think I need some back up." It was Chero calling. Jay replies with. "Oh, um, ya, i'm coming, where are you?"

"I'm at Evolve Inc., but better hurry, we have to stop someone and fast." Chero says, then he hangs up.

"Evolve inc.? but why there?" Jay asks himself as he gets up and puts the Data Collector in his pocket and hooks the card deck to his belt. He then runs outside and runs to Evolve Inc., which is a tall skyscraper. Jay runs up to Chero, who of which is standing in front of a man in a beige jacket, beige pants, black shoes, and has a Data collector in hand, of which is black with blue grips. "Wait, isn't that Brandon Cipher?" Jay asks Chero, who nods.

"He's trying to open a rift to the Data Realm, and if he does, the world will be in grave danger." He says as he pulls the same portal-styled card from his card deck. the new stranger, whose name we know as Brandon now, chuckles. "Oh i'm going to open the rift, and i'll be sure of it that it boosts my profits!" Brandon says as he pulls out his own portal-styled card as well.

"Wait, what is he talking about?" Jay asks, confused about the situation at hand, and Chero replies with. "I'll explain later. Data, collection." Chero says as he slides his card through the card rail on the side of his data collector. Brandon does the same thing. "Data collection!"

"Access the data realm!" says Brandon and Chero. Number streams start to spread out from beneath there feet, and Jay jumps in surprise, but stays in his place as the numbers start to surround them, like the numbers were forming a room around them. "OK, what is going on!?" Jay asks as the room is formed, and he is now moved to the stadium booths, sitting in a crowd of small creatures. The creatures have black bodies with blue-yellow circuitry-like details across there body. They're short with stubby arms and legs. There heads are like TV screens, having pixalated-cheering faces. Jay jumps in surprise at the sight of them. "What are you things!?"

"Oh, hello! We're Screen Share's, we broadcast any Data battle to the Data World and to any Data Master!" Said one of the creatures, who we now know are called Screen Share. Jay was confused. "Data battle?" He then looks ahead to see a battle arena. In the center of the arena was a card design, with another Screen Share, but this one was red with green Circuitry details, and he had a microphone in hand. Above him was a display like you would see in games like basketball. On the left and right were tall stands, of which Chero and Brandon stood, Chero on the left, and Brandon on the right.

"Wel~come back to another amazing battle!" Said the Screen share in the center of the arena. "Today, we have our returning champions! On the left, fighting to protect the human world, we have Chero with his Monster team mate, Tech-Ster!"

"Tech-ster? Sounds like tech combined with Trickster." Jay said to himself, then chuckled.

"and on our right, we have the man who wants to boost profits by opening the rift to our home world, it's Brandon with his monster team mate, Hydrolus!" The Screen Shares in the crowd cheered. "Now everyone of you knows the rules by now, am i right? Well of course I'm right! Now, competitors, summon your monsters and let the battle, begin!" A stream of numbers swirls around him, then it goes away, and that Screen Share is now gone.

Chero pulls a card out of his deck, of which has a yellow robot. it has an upside down head that has a single speaker for a mouth and a single green optic. On its body was gold lines going down and around his body. It's arms were thin and lanky, and his hands are instead swords. On it's back were exhaust pipes, and instead of legs, it has a large base of which has large, bulky treads. "Data, summon." He slides the card through the card rail. In the air above the arena, a stream of numbers form to form a large portal, of which the same robot creature from the card drops out of and lands on the arena. "Alright, lets do this!" Says the monster as it does donuts on it treads. On the monitor above, an image of it's head with the name "Tech-ster" and the number 600/600 slides in on the top left.

Brandon pulls out his own card. On the card is a grey hydra, which has 5 heads, all having a single horn on there nose's. The scales on there necks are thick, going down to the body that they're attached to. On the back are tons of spikes, and it's legs are big and bulky. It's claws are large and sharp, and it has two tails, each one tipped off with a single sharp claw like a stinger. "Data summon!" In the arena, the monster comes in the same way that Tech-ster came in. He lands, and his 5 heads look up to the sky and roar loudly. On the monitor, one of the heads and the name "Hydrolus" and the number 700/700 slides in on the bottom right, then in the center, in bold red letters, surrounded by fire, is the word "Fight!".

Whoa! Jay nearly fell out of his seat as the Screen Shares cheered. "ok, now that is cool!" The scene goes to an angled view of the two monsters, getting ready to fight, with Chero's and Brandon's heads faded into the scene.
